This little fisherman is just trying to haul in his catch of the morning, and has attracted a lot of attention from the local seagulls. This picture is great for fans of folksy painting, birds, the sea, fishing, fishermen, goldfish or fish sticks! I was inspired by a very cute sculpture of a fishing boat in a small fishing village. It was a short, squat little boat that made me chuckle and I had to get its form down on paper. This painting is done in watercolour, coloured pencil, ink and acrylic paint.
My paintings are most at home in the less formal areas of your home, kitchen, kid’s rooms, family room, bathroom, etc. They will brighten up any little corner.
I prefer doing small original due to the ease in shipping, and most of us have those little areas we aren’t quite sure what to do with, or maybe you just want to dabble a little in buying original art pieces before you move onto bigger purchases.
