Stanja The CCC
Hi! I’m Stanja, the founder and CCC (Chief Chick in Charge). I am a pretty simple woman from the east coast of Canada. I was raised in a small village and had much of the same friend group through my entire school years, before I relocated to the complete opposite end of the country. I am a passionate animal lover, art lover and have yet to find a creative hobby that doesn’t appeal to me, although one or two always bubble to the top of my list.
I founded ChickNDoodle as an outlet for my artistic and coaching passions. I have been coaching people and teams for decades and have been practicing fine arts and crafts for over 30 years. I am a trained interior designer and have schooled at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. I love learning anything and everything about art and to this day I still attend workshops and training. There’s always something new to learn. I love to channel these passions into creative products for others to use, such as journals for all ages, stickers and stationery, original art and prints, and for the kids, art kits and coloring pages. Luckily my own interests are lined up to kids’ interests as well and my illustrations translate well into items kids can practice their artistic leanings on. My artwork is boldly based on the love of animals and their relationships with us. Anyone who loves animals knows the looks, the side-eyes, the vacant confusion, the loving gazes and the joyful expressions that come in so many forms.
I have put my illustrations on furniture, walls, canvases and windows. Now I’m expanding to t-shirts, bags, pouches and stickers.
When I looked up the journaling community on line several years ago I was amazed at the number of people who also enjoyed decorating their journals! I started channelling my abilities into creating fun stickers and decorations for my own journals, and the idea to share these products was born. I can’t wait to design your journals with you! I look forward to helping others start or level up this comforting and mindful hobby that has brought me immeasurable benefits and I’m sure it will for you too! You can journal about ANYTHING! You can doodle it!
